i use oranges and water crystals. the only thing i can think of is maybe there was some oranges juce that i did not see when i began my clean up... i'm at a loss... there was no moisture on sides of tub either...

i think it is frowned upon but my beardies love the box of coconut bark that I have in the cage. They will get in there dig around for hours and then lay on the top of the box and just chill. I do not know if this is something that I would recommend though as I do not know if it is safe or not....

In my opinion, if you are going to build it make a 4x2x2 crossfire VIV. they look better and are not all that expensive to make. I think with the light fixtures most ppl are spending about 100 bucks on them... I may be wrong...

I let my egg flats sit for at least 2 weeks b4 I use them. Knock on wood, no problems yet. but just be careful where you get your flats from. Usually these lil mom and pop stores are good places. look for a place that is known for their breakfast. they can usually give you tons of them.

Just looked at the pix on west coast roaches. It looks similar but this lil creepy crawly is black in color. I'm gonna do some investigating today. Will let y'all know what I come up with. :-)

be careful using calcium in your chow. I read somewhere that when crickets are fed calcium alot they become britle. I think it may be the same for roaches i'm not sure. I hope someone else reads this and confirms what I am thinking. but as for roach chow you can use pretty much anything. I use 2...
