Just a side note but beardies in the wild do eat other lizards. I am not AT ALL saying that ANYONE should feed them anoles or any other lizards!! I am just saying that they do eat other lizards, and I dont think it is cannibalism if it is a different kind of lizard??? Could be wrong about that...

Thats a really cool name and a really cool anime! I names my first beardie Tohru after my first favorite manga Fruits Baskets. If you know it I also had a bird named Kyo R.I.P. Kira could be after a couple of things but I named her after the girl in Chronicles of Riddick.

One think Kira really liked to do was chase crickets, dont know if that is helpful though lol.

I took it out and he was sitting and looking up at where it was so I put it back in. I ended up adding another one for basking so he sits on that all day now.

Tohru has been so lazy lately he is driving me crazy! Ever since I made him a hammock he will just lay there and not go bask. I have tried to put his basking light over his hammock but it isnt 6-8" from his uvb so that didnt work. I have tried making his hot side hotter, made his hot side...

Well ever since I made Kira a hammock her personality has kinda changed. She use to be very quiet and shy. Now she is always glass dancing and head bobbing! But I dont think she is scared of it because she spends most of here day sitting on it. :dontknow:

Beardies arm wave to be submissive most of the time, not sure if there is another reason they do it or not. My first baby beardie use to do that until I covered the 2 sides and back of his viv with paper. If you do that it may make him feel safer and stop the wave.

Can beardies get stress from adding new thing to their viv or from moving things around? :?:
