This low-cost method of lining your bearded dragon enclosure is easy to clean and replace, reduces the amount of bacteria contained in the enclosure, and can be found almost anywhere. Non-adhesive shelf liner makes a great substrate.

Comments: I first purchased the Con-tact brand, but noticed it had a strong smell to it, almost like nail polish remover, so I was worried it might be toxic to my dragon. I then purchased the Duck brand and it had virtually no smell and seemed much safer. I recommend using the Duck brand versus the Con-tact brand.

Comments: Bought it because of its popularity with other dragon owners, and I am not disappointed one bit. Super easy to clean and replace. Plus there are some very cool designs that you can get.

Comments: I would not keep my beardie on anything else. Way better than newspaper and paper towel! So easy to clean, wipe clean, throw in the washer machine, and even throw it out after several months! Cheap, easy to maintain, looks great and provides a safe environment for your beardie. I can't say enough good things about it! LOVE IT!!

Comments: Glad I tried this stuff as per the recommendations here! I paid about $5 for a 24"X48" roll and it sticks to the floor of the cage so those stupid crickets can't get under there. Beastie finds his food and I just switch between the two pieces when his cage needs cleaning. The actual glass underneath never gets dirty because the rubbery shelf liner sticks (not adhesive) to the floor, keeping shed skin and poop out. Thanks fellow beardie lovers for recommending this stuff! BTW, Con-tact brand also makes this type of shelf liner if you can't find Duck (I like Duck better though)

Comments: Have to admit that I was skeptical at first that this would work out for me. I bought a roll of Duck brand from Wal-Mart, about $5. It has worked out very well so far! so easy to clean.

Comments: As mentioned above, VERY easy to clean, and for a coupla bucks for a large roll, you can always have a fresh, clean substrate ready to quickly change out when doing cage cleanings.
