    rankins... where are they?

OMG... Those are some pretty expensive Rankins :(. I hope my pair is successful in breeding, I would love to see more of these wonderful dragons on the pet circuit at more reasonable prices. The few private breeders I know of charge between 100-200 based on age and sex. I would not pay more...

What to do when your dragon lays eggs - Tutorial

my 1 year old female just laid 17 infertile eggs yesterday, I was totally not prepared for it. Her 55 gallon substrate is repticarpet, with a pile of walnut shells at one end because she always seemed to like to dig. Last few days she has been running back and forth like crazy, and kept...

She's here! She is such a cute little petite thing, I don't have a scale, but Cato is a little bigger and heavier and his face is a little wider, that's for sure! I have some cute photos I just took: Here she is! She has the perfect little tie pattern down her back, and a cute little natural...

can I ask what you other US ladies who have rankins paid for them? i think I was pretty lucky to find my male in a parrot shop of all things marked down to $40 (poor thing was terrified of his everyone and everything when I bought him, but he is a lively, lovely pet now!), but I just bought a...

    Introducing Wilson the silkie!

He is a cutie! Do you find him much harder to take care of? I would love to get a silkie, but they seem very fragile to me... Gorgeous though, and you can see all his pretty colors. :) a

Re: the rankins dragon colors. I was told that the only true to natural color is the dark gray/green, and the reason there are so few rankins in the USA in the pet trade is that because Australia put the ban on exports relatively quickly after they were identified, and most of the stock in...

Too much cuteness.... I just went and put a deposit on an 11 month old female to join my Cato with Stars Dragons... We are going to name her Clove :). My kids are "hunger games" fans.

    Cato the aggressive!

He's gorgeous! LOL this thread caught my eye because we have a rankins dragon named Cato... Mostly because he was an aggressive little bugger at first, now he is a sweetie. Great name ;).

just curious how you manage petcare when you go on vacation? We have a dog, a fish tank, two dragons (1 beardie, 1 rankins) a cockatiel and a parrotlet. I usually hire a neighbor kid to come and feed the birds/lizards/fish once a day, and my mother in law watches my dog... But the whole...

we have our little dude in a 30x12x12 reptile zilla tank... Its the tank they sell for "bearded dragons", (ha!) but is really only suitable for a rankins. I think the height and length is perfect; plenty of room to run and place a hide out/thing to climb on both the warm and cool end. My...

Hi everyone! From Ohio with BD and Rankins (pics)

we took a video of pool time today :). We bought a cheap blow up baby pool at the dollar store, and filled it very shallowly with warm water.... My dragons LOVED it :) http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LKZ9sCSaYFk

Not sure about the hormone thing not being an issue... Most of the time Cato seems to either ignore Prim or stack on her for basking, but there was one time I thought they were starting to fight, and seperated them quickly.... Only to google the behavior and find out that it was no fight :oops...
