I wasn’t looking to do anything super fancy or expensive it being my first time. I just didn’t want no background and I get tired of picture backgrounds. This is a 4x2x2 tank. I think now that my first one went well, I can get into more elaborate and fancy backgrounds with added levels or I can...
Oh my goodness… THIS. I love this post and exactly. The facts are, they just make up the rules as they go to stifle panic but regardless, it is extremely rare that you will catch it from your beardie. Way higher risk with food.
I hold my beardie in my hand and with my other hand I sort of press his bottom lip down and it cracks his mouth open and I stick a piece of green in his mouth. Their tongues are sticky so when he investigates or tries to spit it out he almost always eats it. Doesn’t take a lot of pressure to...
Yes, it’s unfortunate. I know people that are scared of my beardie just because they see claws and teeth on a docile creature that doesn’t move unless it has to but aren’t scared of my fish in a tank who will actually bite lol They are more scary than my bearded dragon.

He poops in an empty food dish I use...

I wash my hands before and after as well as I own land and aquatic pets. And exactly, it should be common practice but there are those that don’t even think twice about bacterial or viral transmission
So for anyone that has owned or thinking about owning bearded dragons; during any amount of research, I'm sure we have all came across the word salmonella. It has been well known for years that there is a risk. My issue is that most of the news cycles do not comment on the percentage of the risk...
Yeah those seem to be one as a source of “medicinal” remedy and another if there is a low source of uvb to encourage natural d3 and the others seem more catered to different species so I’ll stick with the regular repashy since it’s a baby and I’m getting the new uvb in today or tomorrow. I’m...
