Help! Beardie keeps closing one eye

Hi all i got my bearded dragon at the beginning of feb (hes about 8 months old), but in the past few months i keep noticing that he keeps closing his left eye, he seems fine other than that, eating his crickets, worms and greens and hes defecating normally hes not been hiding or looking agitated.
Ive looked around for people with similar problems and they all mentioned the UVB bulb, mines a Arcadia 12% UVB Bulb 18W which from what i read should be fine for him.
Im just wondering if there could be anything else thats causing it? Its not permantly closed, he opens it whenever i get closer for a better look.
Has anyone else had similar problems?

What about your basking bulb? Is it bright white with no coating? Or is it one of those full-spectrum daylight bulbs? Do you use a dimmer on your basking bulb and if so is it dimmed down more than 20%? Is your basking bulb as close in proximity to the UVB as possible?

Ive got a Exo Terra Sun Glo Neodymium Daylight Basking Spot Lamp at 75W, does seem to have a slight coating as in its not clear. Theres no dimmer on it and its about an inch away next to the UVB, the UVB strip bulb is lying against the back of the viv, the basking light next to it, and the heat lamp is on the right side of the viv next to the basking lamp.
The heat lamp is Exo Terra Ceramic Wave Heat Lamp Emitter 100W and is controlled by a thermostat

Alright, first step is to get rid of that Neodymium coated bulb. It is not bright enough. It could very well be the reason that your dragon is closing its eye, as the bulb is not a bright white. Those bulbs cancel out the yellow hue, and while yellow hues in our home are not pleasing to our eyes, our reptiles need that yellow hue. The Neodymium coating is making the environment look blueish, dull, and dark. You want to simulate high noon in the desert. You can buy a bright white household bulb in the same wattage very cheaply and that will be much better.

Give it several days for the eyes to adjust after changing out the bulb, and let's see if that is all that it is. I recently had the eye-squinting problem with one of my dragons because I had a bulb dimmed a bit too much, and I had to lower the basking platform, undim the bulb, and then wait a few days for her eyes to return to normal.

Thanks for your help, he seems alright today, he has been shedding a bit so i might give him a few days to see if he was just getting antsy from the shedding, if not then ill def change the bulb, but hes never had any issues with the set up till recently. the basking bulb does give off a yellowish light though, but i was thinking about getting some spares anyway
