So, my little leeroy is about 5-6inches from nose to tip of the tail, and he's quite content with his 29gal tank atm, however, soon he will be outgrowing his tank and will need a new home!
So, i've decided instead of buying a 40gal breeder to possibly have to move him yet again, i've decided i'm going to convert something into a viv/terrarium.
My question is what to use though? Curio cabinets are more tall and skinny than deep, same goes for china cabinets and they can also run to be a pretty penny. I've looked at armoire's also but the good ones are too much. So far i've liked SOME armoires, and i've recently started looking at hutch's also which seem really viable.
For the people who built your own, how'd you do it? For the people who converted a piece/pieces of furniture into their new beardie home, what did you use?
I'm looking for a minimum of 2 feet deep, length is negotiable, and height, anything over 1 1/2'. Been looking on craigslist and i'm not looking to spend over $80 or i may as well just go buy a regular tank
