I like Kwayze's leash - did you make that? He looks like he enjoyed being outside (in spite of the beard!).

yeah that leash looks very comfortable and looks like she can hardly feel it. where did you get it from/did you make it?

Thanks! She loves it outdoors except when the birds and planes come around.

I bought the leash from a pet store. It's an iguana leash, and very similar to this one at PetMountain:

is it normal for them to puff out their beards when they're outside??
I took Jasper out twice yesterday, the first time..he just laid there. The second time..he puffed out his beard and it turned pitch black. The first time, it was just me outside with him, and my daugther. The second time there was two other people..he didn't seem to like them. Everytime they'd walk buy..he'd open his mouth and puff out even more.

You should definitely get a tegu if you ever find the room for it. I have the smallest type (blue) and they can get up to 4.5 feet long. Mine has the bare minimum for an enclosure at 7' x 3' x 3'. They are great pets though (so long as you get one from a baby and build trust with it).

Yes. Kwayze trusts me but she puffs up at everyone and everything outside (including me). It certainly is normal and probably has little to do with the other 2 people.
