Ruby is a Daredevil

Can someone tell me why Ruby jumps off the cliff EVERY TIME?
Okay, so here's the story. Ruby sits in the mirror then there is a small gap between the couch and the windowsill. Ruby walks right up to the gap and falls in.
Of course I scream and grab him but when I put him back, either the same day or a different day, he follows the same pattern. I believe reptiles do that but I finally said okay, go- I thought he would extend his arms like Rocky and just hold on but no, to the floor he went. He was okay as I guided his fall, LOL
he started to glow of happiness. I thought, okay- maybe it knocked some sense into him. But it didnt~
Every time, Ruby wants to do the same think which he feels is a game but it's NOT.

Is he ditzy or adventurous? Or 3rd default option....me

I think that the color of the sofa and the window sill is chosen in such a way that the dragon's eye does not notice the abyss. I often watch Foxy and noticed that there are surface colors that he will never jump on. If you hang a blue towel on the wall, he will just look at it and move on, but he will definitely jump and hang on the towel if it is, for example, pink. And he will crash into a green thing, trying to go through it, as if it were a thicket of grass. I think you should fill this gap with something so that Ruby doesn’t fall every time and the problem will be solved, or maybe he will try to climb over this gap once and will always start climbing over.

You're so smart and right. It's a white color that he's jumping towards. Rocky walks into white walls all of the time. That's it! You're making my ENTIRE day, thanks!

So @NickAVD was correct. He can't see. Now it makes sense why he hesitat3s to jump off his perch thing/chair/puff/whatever that stand is in the window when it's bedtime. I noticed that when I put my hand out, he'd come.
I thought if he was jumping into the abyss, why would he jump.... it's bedtime and nothing stops Ruby. You'd swear he had a full time job.
Eat, sleep...what a life.

Now that I know that he's visually impaired, I'll stop.


I'll also stop Rocky from walking into walls. He's been doing that so long... and it's online two...once he taps it he says, "oh, make a left here"
