why do you need to wait 45 mins - the probe should be inside the viv all the time to give a constant reading

this one is about $3 on ebay

I didn't even think about temp gun.I got one over dads house i need to go get it.Well now that he is eating and drinking a little, gonna take him to work in morning to see doctor. He has 3 or 4 spots on his back and 1 on tail, all in seperate spots not around each other. It's like a scale turns gray almost like dry skin and layer falls off.

Just in different spots, not like shedding?

My dh had the temp gun. I took it over, LOL. I find it so much better to point and shoot in differing spots in the viv. I can do it as often as I like. Comes in handy when having to constantly switch out bulbs to get the right temps. (as I have had to do with one of my vivs a lot recently)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
