Blood, not in poop, but..bleeding when pooping?

Hi, uhm. So I haven't posted in here in a long time. Things have been crazy in my life the passed couple years..but I have to ask about this because it is a bit concerning.

So, yesterday I notice a little bit of blood on my Scooter's newspaper after she pooped. It wasn't very much so I figured I would check today cause she's been pooping almost every day for about a week or two suddenly and it's been pretty runny, but like mostly greens so I figured that was normal. Today she had a solid poop with good urate, but again with the blood spots....she had been staying with my mom for a while while our heat got repaired and she was feeding her pretty big dubias everyday with her salad. I told her 3 or 4 every other day but I was basing this off the roaches I normally find which are barely more than a dime in size. Turns out she somehow found quarter sized ones and was giver her those. Which was fine and she ate them fine but this was also a time when she was only pooping like once a week, and I didn't know any of this about the size difference in the roaches until I got her back and saw them. Now, the reason I bring all this up is because she pooped when she got home and it was the most MASSIVE turd if ever seen a beardie produce. It looked like a cat or small dog poop and was definitely solid, looked tough to pass...since then she had the runny poops that looked less digested, I've been trying to feed her earlier in the day to let her have as much basking time after as possible, but she's also been glass surfing a lot, and not with a full black beard but like darkened sides along her spikes. I thought it was just zoomies cause spring time and I would take her outside in the sun for a while and she would calm down. No signs of blood after the huge poop and none while her poops were runny, but as soon as thwy started to become solid again (yesterday) I saw the blood. Is it just that she tore something when she had that big poop? And it didn't show until her poop was solid again? Or should I be worried? Should I give her a bath and see if there's more blood? Shes otherwise alert and active, so far. Thank you in advance for any info.💜

What are her surface basking temps and how are you getting them? The UVB your using coil or a long tube fixture and how old is the bulb?

Basking temp is between 97 and 103, taking it with a probe thermometer, she sits on itwhen she basks. If she's on it, it reads high 90s, if she's not sitting there it reads between 100 and 103. UVB is a T8 tube reptisun, its around 3 or 4 months old.

The T 8 is inside the tank? I would recommend you upgrade the T 8 to a T 5 - what size tank is she in?

It's above the tank, no screen though. Just direct onto her hammock. She's in a 40 gallon. I know she probably needs a bigger tank, I've been looking around for a better one. I can take a picture if you need. Will I need a new fixture fir the T5 as well?

Also, she used to sit under her UVB light on her hammock a lot but since she's been all crazed and running around she only stops to bask for a little while then goes back to scratching at the walls.

As you suspect it's probably from feeding the large insects and pushing out the large poo. If there is a very slight tear down there you can apply a little honey with a Q-tip. It can't hurt but can help heal any type of wound.

Alright, thank you! I will try that. I think I'll give her a nice bath and put some honey on. She likes to run through her poop a lot so I don't want her to get an infection. Thank you again!

Yes you will need a new fixture --- the distance for the T 8 should be 6-8 inches directly above her --- we can post links for tanks if you want them

That would be lovely thank you! Yes normally she likes sitting under it on her hammock but she's been so active lately she only sits up there on and off. I've been trying to take her outside on warm days to get real sun and it does seem to calm her down. She also really likes looking out the window but where we moved her doesn't have a great view. I may move her to a better window spot once I get her a new tank. Thank you so much!

Here are some websites to look at for tanks -- I would go w/ a 4x2x2 tank and you will need a 24" UVB fixture for that tank - it will need to go inside the tank as well
www.zenhabitats.com they have the black mat to fit the tank -- I have two tanks -- sides and back are made of bamboo - screen is a stainless steel and has two bars running width wise inside under the screen - my tanks are the original
Animal Plastics Cages and Racks
(no title)
Main - Carolina Designer Dragons these tanks are all glass very heavy and I dont like the UVB attached to the basking bulb -- makes it hard to adjust temps etc
CRITTER CONDO - 48"X24"X24" with T5HO LIGHTING AND HEAT FIXTURE INCLUDED! TWO COLORS AVAILABLE. IN STOCK!
120 Gallon Reptile Enclosure (4’x2’x2’)

Just a thought about her hyper activity, she might be carrying eggs. Make a laybox for her ASAP in case she's looking to lay eggs.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
