What worm would be good as a replacement for a feeder insect like crickets or roaches? I bought my 2 month old beardie mealworms at a local reptile store but then I read that they aren’t great for them. He doesn’t seem to be too fond of crickets and greatly preferred the mealworms so I am definitely looking into different types but there is so much contradicting information out there, i’m not sure what is best! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

A varied diet is best for them with a mix of different bugs.
For staples it's best to feed something with legs like dubias, crickets, locusts, etc. but there is nothing wrong with mixing in some mealworms, silkworms or (when she's bug enough) superworms from time to time.

My girls is also two months old, she gets dubias and locusts mostly and I feel like she will eat more greens.
My boy is 18 months and he gets superworms from time to time and I feel like he will eat less greens when he does...

Hornworms are great for hydration but they grow incredibly fast. They will get to big for her in 3 or days. If you keep them cool 70ish they last just a bit longer. Black soldier fly larva are very good also she will out grow them pretty fast though, a couple months likely

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
