My young beardy has drastically changed his mood

My 9” beardy has drastically changed his behavior over the last 2 days. He is shedding does anyone think that could be the cause? Any help would be appreciated thanks

Shedding often has them acting irritable and is also known to make them lose their appetite for a little while. This usually returns to normal after the shed is complete. It doesn't happen with every shed but is common based on what I've seen/read.
