He was basking after a good meal, and decided to stay that way when the lights went off. He was mad that I turned on the light in the living room when I took the picture, which is why his beard is dark. Right before this, he was almost colorless.

I have a blanket right by his cage that I cover his cage with when I'm in that area. I take it back off when I am 100% done in the room lol. Beardies - what a bunch of babies, amirite?

When we need the light in the room we cover the whole thing with blankets. Otherwise we get glared at!

Ruby bangs around to make sure we know, then goes under her rock lol. (She's in the dining room so any light anywhere she sees, and if she is sleepy look out lol)
